Zaratustra (sel.), Gaia Ciência §341, Genealogia Essay I. Eternal return = the sharpest evening audit. Ressentiment (reactive, needs an enemy) vs. creation (affirms from strength). Read the anti-pity stance critically at the bedside; don't misread "become who you are" as license.
"Is my ambition creation — or resentment wearing armor?"
Counter-move: name the reactive fuel honestly, don't let it drive alone. Tell: working nights specifically to prove someone wrong.
Whole book, one formula: persons as ends, never merely means. Duty over inclination = anti-activation-wiring, 240 years early. From duty vs. merely in accordance with duty (the shopkeeper test): would you still do it with zero audience?
"Where am I using a person as a means and narrating it as service?"
Counter-move: the zero-audience test before posting/pricing/referring. Tell: consent alone feels like it settled the ethics.
Full novel, normal pace. Raskolnikov's extraordinary-man theory; mastery quietly teaches self-exemption. Porfiry's slow, patient, repeated questioning = the mirror before Sonia. Confession, not punishment, is the exit.
"Which rules do I secretly believe don't apply to me?"
Counter-move: route through the review, visibly, especially when confidence is highest. Tell: "I know this case cold" as the reason to skip a step.
Kant (duty over inclination) vs. Nietzsche (values created from strength, not obligation) — both live in you at once, unresolved on purpose. Faust (redeemed by never settling into exemption) vs. Raskolnikov (ruined by using exceptionality as a resting place) — same capability, opposite direction. Nietzsche's solitary audit vs. Sonia's relational exposure — the evening protocol and the marriage, not either/or.
Faust's study = your tool-filled vault ("tools became idols"). Nietzsche's return replaces "was I productive" with "was this a day I could want again" (M06) — a busy week can fail this test completely. Kant's duty-over-inclination directly counters interest/stakes-driven activation (M01/M03). Raskolnikov's self-exemption is the shadow of the perfectionism paradox (M03) — the same rigor, aimed at excusing you instead of holding you to the standard. Fatherhood is the near-term stress-test for all four at once: a newborn produces no output to log.
